Detailed Machine Cleaning
General Maintenance. Cleaning of Conveyors.
Cryogenic blasting (dry ice technology) makes it possible to clean most of the industrial equipment, machinery, machine tools, vulcanization presses, and the assembly line equipment without damaging them. The use of this technology reduces the time spent cleaning, allowing the subsequent operations for the running of the equipment.
The number of options used for cryogenic blasting is huge. With the help of dry ice cleaning, cleaning can be conducted on site, or even directly during the operations of the equipment. Cryogenic blasting allows you to reduce the amount of downtime, thus increasing the productivity time of any of the production processes. In fact, no other jet processing system provides such a type of profitability.
This method is most effective when cleaning conveyors, various types of conveyor components and conveyor belt feeds. In addition, cryogenic blasting allows cleaning of hydraulic power plants, powerful electrical equipment, and distribution equipment. This technology is also used to remove glue, its adhesive ability weakens in response to lowered temperatures. Traditional abrasive cleaning methods most often lead to the release of heat, and therefore are ineffective in such cleaning situations.
Removal and disposal of hazardous waste must be taken into account when carrying out cleaning in any industry. When using cryogenic blasting, the cleaning material (dry ice) is sublimated. As a result, the volume of hazardous materials does not increase, meaning there is no corresponding disposal cost. This result makes dry ice treatment the prefered method of eliminating radioactive contamination. The traditional method of cleaning radioactive objects uses sand, which itself becomes radioactive, therefore, significantly increases disposal costs.
